My Story
I've loved to be in the kitchen ever since I was a child. So much so, my Mom called me her "shadow." To me, there's nothing better than seeing my friends and family enjoying food I've prepared. It's the ultimate gift of love.
Frostings' Story
In June 2008, I spent some time in New York City. I was amazed and inspired by countless cupcakeries across the city. Regardless of how sophisticated or conventional the flavor, or how modern or traditional the bakery, I couldn't help but notice how happy everyone was - patrons and staff; young and old. It was then I realized the power of designer, gourmet treats. I made the difficult decision to leave a career in teaching to start the bakery. While the future remains to be seen, if I can bring the same amount of joy to your family, I'll consider Frostings a success.

Cupcake Wars
In March 2010, we got a call from the show Cupcake Wars on Food Network asking us to audition! Although we didn't hear back, it just wasn't our time. Fast forward to August 2011 and we received another call! We quickly put together this second audition video and just weeks later we were on location filming an episode! It was an experience Jessica and I will never forget!
